Having fun

We went to see an old railroad bridge just outside of Wilmore called "Highbridge" this week. It was built in the early 1800's and was the highest bridge in the world for a long time. Trains still use the bridge and it is a tourist attraction now with a park, pavilions, and a scenic lookout area.

The St. Louis Cardinals played in Cincinatti this weekend so we decided to go see them play on Saturday. We made the decision to go last minute so we were already running a little short on time and then we got stuck in traffic for about 30 minutes on the way there. Ugh! Traffic with a baby is never fun. We missed the first inning but luckily we were able to get really good seats on the first base side. This was Kirsten's first Cardinal's baseball game. She was really good the whole time and made friends with the big man that was sitting beside me. She was eyeing beer everytime he took a drink...it looks a lot like her apple juice :)

Today after church we took a walk to the park. Kirsten gets a little scared everytime we put her down the slide, but likes swinging a little bit better.
